Clear Channel Radio – Hamden/New Haven –is looking for a full time Executive Assistant with 1-2 minimum year(s) of more of office experience. This is an entry level position. Candidate must have exceptional computer skills, including but not limited to Word, Power Point and Excel. You must also possess excellent writing and communication skills. You will report to and assist the Director of Sales and General Sales Manager in day to day responsibilities. Scheduling appointments for clients, pulling management reports, organizing station events, prepare training materials and assist with FCC - Public File.

Events Specialist

-      Qualified candidates will have the ability to plan and implement events and promotional programs to achieve strategic and revenue goals.  Expertise in all aspects of coordinating and producing events from start to finish.  Knowledge of running promotional campaigns, integrated marketing campaigns and working with community events.

 

-      A proven track record for creativity, initiative and multi-tasking is required. This individual will be hard working, detail-oriented, task focused and have the ability to manage multiple projects.

 

Requirements:

 

- Must be extremely detail-oriented, accurate and organized, possess the ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, be comfortable learning and working with new systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic team player with dedication and determination to advance.
- Candidates will need to be proficient in Microsoft Suite, Power Point, Excel

Job description:

Develop and maintain new and existing station advertisers through prospecting and good client service. Includes new account development, writing proposals, coordination of commercial copywriting and production and ongoing billing collection. Broadcast sales experience is beneficial, but not critical. Individual must be self-motivated, creative, goal oriented and a problem solver.

Promotions Internship

Work closely with the Clear Channel Radio New Haven Promotions Department to assist in the set up of station events, research client information and perform other various in and out of office tasks. To be eligible you must receive college credit or equivalent. This is an unpaid internship to gain real-world radio experience.
